Location Description
Lake Livingston and Lake Livingston Dam were built by the Trinity River Authority (TRA) of Texas and the city of Houston, Texas. TRA built, owns, manages, and operates the dam, reservoir, and recreational facilities associated with the project. The dam, located approximately seven miles southwest of Livingston, Texas, is across the Trinity River and is 2.5 miles long.
