S&T Project 22024 Data: Historic Linings Inspection Data
Reclamation scientists conducted field trials of various protective linings at the Shasta Dam Unit 5 Penstock (Shasta) in 1949 and at the Collbran Project Salt Creek Siphon (Collbran) in 1959. The results of the first investigation since 1972 where Shasta and Collbran are evaluated together are reported here. Researchers used data from visual assessments and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) to evaluate the current performance of surviving test linings at Shasta and Collbran. This catalog item is the inspection and analysis data from Shasta and Collbran.
