Reclamation Information Sharing Environment (RISE)

Reclamation's Wildfire Risk Assessment Tool provides a baseline model to spatially assess wildfire risk to Reclamation’s land and infrastructure. Currently, there is no method to assess these risks of wildfire to assets, or to distribute or prioritize associated funding. Wildfire risk reduction and wildfire resilience improvements are relevant to Reclamation. Reclamation has jurisdiction over approximately seven million acres of burnable land that contains critical water and hydropower infrastructure. The Wildland Fire Program will continue development of the Risk Assessment Tool.
