Gray Reef Reservoir and Dam

Gray Reef Dam is located on the North Platte River about 27 miles southwest of Casper, and 2 miles downstream from Alcova Dam. It is part of the Glendo Unit of the Pick-Sloan Missouri Basin Program. Construction of Gray Reef Dam and Reservoir was started in 1959 and completed in 1961.
