Lahontan Reservoir

Lahontan Reservoir is located on the Carson River in northwest Nevada between Fallon and Carson City. It is formed by Lahontan Dam, built in 1905. Flows into the reservoir are augmented by diversions from the Truckee River through the Truckee Canal.
