This weather station is part of the hydrological and meteorological network Hydromet and is managed cooperatively by Reclamation and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. It is located near Craters of the Moon National Monument near Martin, Idaho in southern Idaho. Hydromet data are used for hydrologic and meteorologic monitoring, water management, and forecasting.
