Lake Owyhee and Owyhee Dam (OWY)

Owyhee Dam is a concrete, thick-arch structure. At the time of its construction, Owyhee ranked as the world's highest dam. It was constructed from 1928 to 1932. Lake Owyhee and Owyhee Dam are located on the Owyhee River approximately 30 miles southwest of Ontario, Oregon. Columbia Basin Teletype (CBTT) = OWY.
