Reclamation Information Sharing Environment (RISE)

Two distressed sections of pre-stressed concrete cylinder pipe were removed from service and sent to the Denver Federal Center to be used for inspection truthing and a hands-on educational demonstration. After installation, walkways around the pipe sections were installed, prestressing wires were exposed, and the pipe sections were inspected. Course work was developed, and a presentation was prepared for the Materials and Corrosion Lab’s annual coatings and corrosion school.
