S&T Project 24005 Final Report 2: Selecting Primers for Cavitation Resistant Coating Systems
This study identified primers that are compatible with optimized T4.5 cavitation resistant coatings developed by Reclamation for use in cavitation and erosion environments. Various primers were evaluated to develop a complete system providing protection adequate wet adhesion to survive 100 ft/s water velocities, corrosion, sediment erosion, and cavitation.
