S&T Project 23016 Final Report: Evaluation of Infrastructure Coated with Polysiloxane Coatings
This research evaluated polysiloxane coated infrastructure in water immersion and fluctuating immersion service. The coating with the longest ongoing service was aged nine years, applied in 2015. This report provides field assessments results for six structures: Tennessee Valley Authority Fontana Dam, Denver Water Williams Fork Dam, and Reclamation structures at Delta Mendota Canal Intertie, Tracy Fish Collection Facility, and Antioch Fish Release Facility. Field assessments included visual observations to identify macroscopic damage and field electrochemical testing to examine the coating barrier properties.
