Report from S&T Project 20043: Scoping of future research opportunities to reduce impacts of fugitive dust on Reclamation's lands at the Salton Sea and understand impacts of a receding Salton Sea on the Colorado River Basin
Final S&T Report from the S&T Project 20043. The literature review focused on two topics related to the Salton Sea (Sea): reducing impacts of fugitive dust on Reclamation's lands at the Sea and understanding the impacts of a receding Sea on Colorado River supplies. The literature review aimed to identify techniques to reduce impacts of fugitive dust emissions from the exposed playa and existing research linking the Sea to precipitation patterns, and where additional research on these topics is needed.
